Nautilus Development - September 2018 Update

Portland Mini Maker Faire

We had a great time sharing our new Nautilus 3D Printer prototype at the Portland Mini Maker Faire this September!

Thank you to all those who stopped by and showed their enthusiasm and support for what we are doing. It was awesome!

Here’s a few pictures from the event.

3 Color Testing Underway

We have now got a working 3 material setup and have been testing for about a week now. We have been able to achieve around 99% reliability with unloading and loading of the filament into our single tool head. This is pretty good, but we need to reach 100% reliability as even one failed load will cause a print to fail. We think we are getting close!

Beta Testing to Begin Soon!

The components for our beta units have almost all arrived and beta production will begin very soon. We are excited to get our printer into the hands of our beta testers so we can start getting feedback.
